Flowering plants are not only pretty to look at they affect our daily lives in ways you may not have thought of before. Practically all the food we consume comes from flowering plants - beans, nuts, fruits, vegetables, tea, chocolate, coffee and more. Many of the medicines we take also come from flowering plants. Plants use flowers to make seeds for reproduction; each seed has the information needed to make a new plant.
